Key Won't Turn?Don't Force It.
The ignition lock is the part you put your key into to start the car. Inside are small pins that wear down over the years, and a worn key makes it worse. Forcing it can snap the key or break the lock. We find out whether the key, the lock or the steering lock is the problem, then fix just that. Key broke in the ignition? See broken car key repair. Door lock stiff too? Try car lock repair. Part of our car locksmith service in Dubai.

Car Ignition Questions
What Dubai drivers ask when their key won't start the car.
+971 52 106 9496- 01
Why won't my key turn in the ignition?
- Most often the steering lock is on. Gently turn the steering wheel left and right while turning the key. If that doesn't work, the key or ignition may be worn.
- 02
My key is stuck in the ignition. What do I do?
- Make sure the car is in Park and the wheel isn't locked. Don't pull hard. If it still won't come out, call us before it snaps.
- 03
How much does ignition repair cost in Dubai?
- It depends on your car and whether we repair or replace the lock. We check it and tell you the price before we start.
- 04
Do I need to tow my car to a garage?
- Usually not. We repair or replace most ignition locks right where your car is parked.
- 05
Will I need a new key after the repair?
- Not always. Where we can, we set the ignition to your existing key. If your key is badly worn, a new one helps the lock last.
- 06
How long does it take?
- Freeing a stuck key can take minutes. A full ignition replacement usually takes one to two hours.
- 07
Do you fix push-to-start cars?
- If a push-to-start car won't start, the smart key is often the issue. We can test it and program a new one if needed.
